  1. From June 24-26, 2015 the Honor Flight-Inland Empire participated in providing WWII Veterans from the Inland Empire and surrounding Counties to the Gary Sinise Foundation that gifted us with a charter flight to the WWII Museum in New Orleans. In cooperation with American Airlines all of these groups made the 2-1/2 days an overwhelming experience for 45 Veterans and 15 trained HF-IE Guardians and employees of the Sinise Foundation, American Airlines (including flight crew), Museum Staff, Bob Hope USO, Operation Gratitude and the world famous Patriot Guard Riders as well as countless family, friends and caring citizens that all wanted to say: Thank You For Your Service! We at HF-IE thank all that participated in this effort to acknowledge these Veterans that have been on our Wait List since 2013. This was their opportunity to enjoy the experience that will await them on the trip to Washington, DC, when the funds are available.
